The Fairbanks Ultimate Association (FUeh) invites you to join us for some top of the world disc! Open scrimmage is played in Fairbanks every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30pm until dark (which usually means until mid August!) From May until October. The fields are located on the UAF campus near the Student Rec Center. League night begins in June and is played every Thursday. For more information go to: www.fairbanksultimate.org. Tournaments: The FUA Ice Classic: played in mid March on the frozen chena River-this is a hat tournament, so bring one....for warmth. The Spring Hat Tournament is held in the last weekend of May with players from around the state and around the globe joining for a weekend of midnight sun Ultimate Alaska style. The Equinox fall glow disc classic. Held the Friday night before the Equinox marathon in the dark at the Ester field in Ester Alaska just outside of Fairbanks, Glow discs, glow sticks and other glowing obects are provided. Ultimate Clinics and classes There is a spring womens Ultimate clinic scheduled for mid May and a kids clinic scheduled for the end of May for more information go to: www.fairbanksultimate.org. The Ultimate class at UAF meets each Tuesday and Thursday at the SRC (Student Rec Center) on the UAF campus from 2-3:30pm-class is available both spring and fall semesters. Directions: April through September- Every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-10pm at the UAF fields on campus-there is no fee. Bring indoor gyn shoes and both light and dark jerseys. Lots of skills and drills practice followed by scrimmage-new players are always welcome
