| The UPA HS Easterns & Westerns Championships serve as the culmination for high school Ultimate competition in the US. A total of fifty three teams - Open (30), Women’s (23), and more than 800 athletes recently competed in the two tournaments held on May 10-11 in Pittsburgh, PA (Easterns) and Independence, MO (Westerns). In order to qualify for these events, teams who have competed in the previous year's UPA sanctioned state tournament can apply for a bid.
